Red Cross Preparedness Presentation
Red Cross Preparedness Presentation: Wednesday, October 7th, 5 p.m., Tournament Room, San Luis Obispo Country Club, 255 Country Club Drive. Do not use the main entrance, but instead we welcome you to the Tournament Room at the left end of the building.
Carolyn Novak, from our local Red Cross, will begin sharing at 5 p.m. She has been a disaster volunteer with Red Cross for 4 years. Her first national assignment was the hurricanes in August, 2005, when she spent time in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Locally, she has responded to flood and fire disasters. Carolyn spent 20 years in sports radio and TV.
Her presentation will be about her volunteer experiences, and about what each of us can do to be ready for whatever disaster strikes our area.
