Laguna Backpack Program

Each week, under the leadership of Diane McKeague, Womenade sends home weekend food for 6 families.  There are 4 to 9 members in each family.  Below please see items needed to fill the backpacks.  Donations can be taken to Laguna or to 6099 Marshall Way, Old Country Club, San Luis Obispo. Thank you!

Suggested food items:
Raisins
Bananas,  small tangerines
Apples, Oranges
Small bags carrots
Self-opening cans of Tuna, Chicken, Fruit
Mayo, small jars
Baked beans
Refried beans, brown rice, ready to eat
Chili with beans
Tortillas
Mac n Cheese
Honey, jam, peanut butter
Spaghetti sauce  & Pasta
Granola bars, breakfast bars
Individual packages of oatmeal, applesauce
Small packages of Peanut butter, Crackers, or cheese
Soup pack of pasta with spaghetti sauce
V8 juice                                                
Small jars of peanut butter with graham crackers
Dried milk packs that mix with water to make a quart of milk for the oatmeal
Cranberry juice concentrate that can be mixed with water to make a half gallon and is much lighter to carry.
