Thanks to the advocacy of Lois Crotser, the Mama Bear project this year will be blanket throws for Womenade clients! These throws, that will be ready in December, will be made of 12"x12" squares knitted together with a heart pattern or plain. They will make colorful, warm additions to our donations to referred children and adults.
This amazing group of knitters meets Fridays at 11:00 at Yarns at the Adobe, on Chorro Street across from the Mission. Anne Gough, owner of the yarn shop, generously donates her time, talents, and a yarn stash. Knitters donate yarns, as well. You are welcome to join them as a knitter or crocheter, or just stop by to visit and encourage while enjoying the Adobe's peaceful garden.

Prado Donations via the Food Bank
One positive way to help Prado Day Center feed the 90 - 120 clients who visit daily is through donations to our local Food Bank. Designate your donation to the CAPSLO-Prado Day Center Account. The Food Bank address is 2212 Golden Hill Road, P.O. Box 93447, Paso Robles, CA 93446. This will allow Prado staff to get the food they need delivered to the Center. Thanks for all you do to make a difference in San Luis Obispo County!
